The classic holiday album A Christmas Gift for You from Phil Spector has reached a new peak on the Billboard 200 albums chart, hitting #12 for the week ending January 5, 2024 based mainly on streaming.

Released in February 1963, Bob B. Soxx & The Blue Jeans’ “Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah” gave Phil Spector’s Philles label its second Top 10 hit, with a cover of the classic Disney song. The Blue Jeans were two members of girl group The Blossoms: Fanita James and future solo star Darlene Love.
